| Rugged, parallel linkage helps maintain rigidity in boom lift system and maintains nozzle orientation to ground throughout all height settings. | Separate Hydraulic tip
lift cylinders allow the ends of each the boom to be lifted to clear
obstructions or to compensate for slopes and other uneven field conditions. |
![]() |
This top view of the boom
suspension system
depicts lift cylinders and accumulators. Lift cylinders provide a range from 18" to 66" of boom height adjustment while maintaining a constant ground-to-nozzle spray angle. Nitrogen charged accumulators absorb shock loads on the lift cylinders. Working in conjunction with the parallel linkage system, this arrangement provides an amazingly smooth ride.... even on extremely rough terrain. |
![]() |
| A Patented multi-function fold and breakaway system is coupled with the breakaway protection designed into the hydraulic system. The nitrogen charged accumulator assists gravity to smoothly return the boom to field position after the obstruction is cleared. (Patent # 6,293,475) | The rugged sprayer cart, shown with the optional 1500 gallon tank, is constructed of 4" X 8" steel tube and features over 29" of axle clearance when equipped with the optional 380/90R46 in. tires (top inset). Standard tire size is 480/80R38 in. Duals are also available. |

| Sprayer booms are available in
application widths
ranging from 60 to 110 feet. The Optional dual wet boom (illustrated) allows spraying a second chemical at the same time as the main spraying operation. This is an excellent way to spot-spray difficult-to-control weeds. The wet boom is 1" ID aluminum for maximum volume and near constant nozzle pressure. Boom line strainers are optional. Nozzle spacing is fixed at 20 in. Flexible windshields are optional on either single or dual boom systems (dual booms up to 100 ft. only) and provide supplemental aid in reducing spray drift. According to university testing, spray shields which enclose the entire boom, reduce drift by approximately 50 to 85%. |
The spray system
features corrosion resistant components and includes electronic ball valves for left,
right and center boom sections. A dual jet agitator on a separate valve and an
in-line strainer complete the system. Sprayer is available with either a 1000
gallon or the optional 1500 gallon polyethylene tank. Both feature a
fully drainable sump. The optional 200 gal. (US) Auxiliary Tank can be used to carry clean water in a "rinse tank system" or as a second tank for "a dual boom system". The rinse tank option is not available with dual boom system. An optional 15 gal. (U.S.) Chemical Draw System provides ground level, foam reduced filling of chemical into the sprayer tank. A high performance 5.5 gal. Clean Load Inducer is also available. The Clean Water tank (not shown) complete with rubber gloves and goggles is conveniently mounted for safe sprayer servicing. Tank is standard on 1000 and 1500 gal. units.. |
| Spray Nozzles |
![]() Telescoping axles provide extra strength in wide wheel settings. With the narrow axle, wheels may be adjusted from 80" to 120" using standard 480/80R38 tires. The optional 380/90R46 tires permit spacing adjustments from 76" to 120". When utilizing the wide axle (shown), wheel spacing can be adjusted from 109" to 152" with both tire sizes.

Triple head pinwheel nozzles are standard on Dripless, single, dual or triple head nozzles are equipped with either 80 or 110 degree XR (extended range) stainless steel tips. Pinwheel, Swivel-Jet dual or triple turret nozzles allow quick changing of spray tips with just a twist. Standard nozzle spacing is 20 in. Single nozzles are standard on dual booms. |

REMOTE CONTROL FOR ALL BOOM FUNCTIONS |
|||
![]() |
On the ULTIMATE Supersprayer, electric/hydraulic valves allow all boom functions to be activated from a single hydraulic remote. Extra switches are provided to accommodate optional equipment without having to install additional control boxes in the tractor cab. |
||
ELECTRONIC "IN CAB" MONITOR/CONTROL |
|||
| All
Summers ULTIMATE Supersprayers are
equipped with the Raven SCS 450 control which provides operation of up to three sprayer
booms, individually or collectively with a master switch. Sprayer pressure is
controlled and the monitor makes available a continuous readout of actual gallons per acre
applied. Readout of volume left in tank, time, total area worked, total volume
applied, field area and volume, vehicle speed, distance traveled, area/hour worked and
volume/minute (gallons per minute) are available at the touch of a key. In
cab pressure readings are possible with optional electronic gauge package.

|
||
SPRAYER REMOTE CONTROL |
|||
|
|
The Summers Sprayer Remote Control makes sprayer calibration and adjustment safe and easy. When attached to most 12 VDC operated boom shut-off systems, you can turn your sprayer on and off from anywhere within 100 feet of the sprayer control box. The Sprayer Remote Control can easily be installed on either a new or existing sprayer. |

CONTROL GRIP
Optional Control Grip permits alternating between circuits
without moving your hand from the hydraulic lever. |
