Hydraulic Fold Coil Packers

Built for field-tough conditions, this packer helps provide the ideal seedbed without pulverizing soil surfaces

The herringbone pattern left by the rolling coils conserves moisture and reduces erosion. Early crop emergence is encouraged by the firm and uniformly packed seed bed.

The easy handling unit features all-welded steel tube construction and is designed for use behind seeders, tillage implements, or for use alone as an exclusive packing operation.

An extra long hitch allows simple turns behind the same width implement.

Wings of both 3 and 5 section packers fold hydraulically over machine center for safe machine transport.

Each rolling coil is mounted independently and oscillates to conform to ground contours. The Superflex C-Shank Coil Mounting Springs help to reduce wheel tracks in the field by transferring weight of frame to the coils.

Wheels with 11L x 15" flotation tires are mounted on dual oscillating axles beneath the center section. This design reduces frame stress over uneven terrain and helps eliminate machine bounce. Wings feature 7.60 x 15" tires (optional on single coil wings). Adjustable, dual 16" stroke hydraulic cylinders raise and lower center section transport wheels. Primary wings are folded hydraulically using 32" stroke cylinders. Additional 16" stroke cylinders are used on 5-section machines.

All cylinders are plumbed into a single hydraulic circuit. Transport width on 3 and 5 section machines is 19'.
